Billy Postlethwaite will return to The Watermill Theatre to play the lead role in Shakespeare's MACBETH it is announced today. Postlethwaite's credits include Stanhope in Journey's End for The Watermill, The Madness of King George (Nottingham Playhouse), Chernobyl (HBO/Sky) and Game Of Thrones (HBO).
Following the success of its run at The Watermill and its UK and international tour last year, The Watermill Ensemble will revive TWELFTH NIGHT at Wilton's Music Hall from 12 to 22 September. Fusing actor-musicianship with one of Shakespeare's great comedies, the production runs at the theatre from Today 10 May to Saturday 16 June.
