Direct from the West End, Cameron Mackintosh and Disney Theatrical Group have announced that MARY POPPINS will embark on a 2024/2025 UK and Ireland tour.

Full casting has been announced for the Glasgow run of I SHOULD BE SO LUCKY: THE STOCK AITKEN WATERMAN MUSICAL. Kylie Minogue will also digitally appear throughout the show as a specially created character unique to the musical.

May 2024 sees the critically acclaimed Strictly Come Dancing The Professionals UK Tour taking to the road once more.  And for the first time ever, audiences will be treated to a dazzling dozen amazing pro dancers from BBC One’s smash hit Strictly Come Dancing, performing this spectacular show in venues across the country. Based on Baz Luhrmann's iconic worldwide film phenomenon, Strictly Ballroom: The Musical is set to sweep audiences off their feet when the show arrives at the Theatre Royal Glasgow from Monday 5 to Saturday 10 June as part of a UK and Ireland tour.

The World Premiere of the official Stock Aitken Waterman musical I SHOULD BE SO LUCKY is written and directed by Debbie Isitt and choreographed by Jason Gilkison. The show will open at the Manchester Opera House on 1 November 2023 and play the Christmas season at Leeds Grand Theatre & Opera House from 12 – 30 December 2023 as part of a UK tour.

Dancing on Ice finalist and Coronation Street star, Faye Brookes, joins the cast of Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom The Musical from 27 March, starring in the lead female role of Fran.

The World Choreography Awards will be held on November 15, 2022 at the Avalon Hollywood. Being its twelfth year in existence, I spoke with Allen Walls, Creator and Producer of the World Choreography Awards to catch up with this now seasoned Presentation and how it has been evolving through the years. I have reviewed the event in the past and it is a unique evening whose purpose is to present, celebrate and honor the best Choreographed Dance pieces or segments for the year in a now myriad of categories. It has also built upon it's live presentation and quality of live performances, special guests and hosting of the highest caliber.

The cast and creatives attached to this production of Strictly Ballroom the Musical are enough to make any Strictly Come Dancing fan salivate. Yet despite what should be a winning team, this production fails to find all the right moves.
