Stage Door Records are pleased to announce the Original London Cast Recording of the 1969 West End musical 'Ann Veronica' will be released on September 25th, 2015. The CD release continues Stage Door's London cast album series and commitment to preserve 'lost' British theatre scores of the past 50 years.
Ralph Watson, Nick Waring and Patience Tomlinson lead the cast of the The Heart of Things by Giles Cole, which premieres at Jermyn Street Theatre this Spring. Giles is joined by director Knight Mantell, to reform the team that created the hugely acclaimed The Art of Concealment about the life of Terence Rattigan, which was staged at the same theatre in 2012. With impeccable timing, as the 2015 election campaign goes into overdrive and the political parties are once again at each other's throats, Close Quarter Productions presents this poignant and gripping family drama set against the background of the 2010 general election. The production runs from March 10 to April 4 as part of the theatre's twenty-first anniversary year.

Just posted on the Stage Entertainment web site is official word that 'Sister Act, the musical developed by Stage Entertainment in coproduction with Whoopi Goldberg, will go to Broadway in the spring of 2011. The musical opened one year ago in London and is now almost ready for an international rollout. This fall the show will premiere in Hamburg, Germany and there is interest from Japan, Korea, Canada and Australia.'

According to Whatsonstage.com, SISTER ACT has announced that it will shutter early on October 20 2010. The show was originally set to close in January 2011. Producers are preparing for their Broadway transfer, slated for Spring 2011, as well as a UK tour in the fall of 2011.
