TFANA presents William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice, featuring John Douglas Thompson, directed by Arin Arbus, and co-produced with Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC; Simon Godwin, Artistic Director).

Irving Undead – a one-man play starring award-winning actor James Swanton (the demonic spirit in Host) – will be revived this October. The play, which tells the true story of the Victorian actor Henry Irving, is getting four showings at The Space, from 22 to 24 October, as part of the London Horror Festival.

The London Horror Festival was spawned in 2011 with the aim of championing the genre on stage, and in 2021 it returns with more in-the-flesh frights and continues to demonstrate that horror has well and truly proven its worth with theatre audiences.

Next!, building on the wildly inventive body of productions this fall. The spring will include bold and provocative theatre and dance productions, the popular Dance Speaker Series, and a reimagined Media Innovators Workshop & Speaker Series. Bram Stoker, author of Dracula, and Sir Henry Irving, famed British stage actor an inspiration for Stoker's title character, held a friendship that spanned more then twenty years.  Irving was the leading actor at the Royal Lyceum Theater in London and Stoker the business manager.  Their friendship was fraught with egos, jealousies and fierce competitive natures.  The Necromancers weaves fact and fantasy together to present the last days of Irving's life.

This production offers something for everyone from Grandma all the way down to the little ones to enjoy. With unabashed holiday schmaltz, Holiday Jukebox will harken back to a time when families crowded on couches to watch hokey TV Christmas specials starring Bing Cosby, Andy Williams, John Denver, and Sonny and Cher. In those hour-long programs, singing stars would display harmless holiday merriment in the form of sentimental songs, silly skits and saccharine moments. The production will feature Emily Gatesman (Intimate Apparel, State Fair), Lucas Michael Chandler (Disney's Beauty and the Beast, A Midsummer Night's Dream), Paul Henry (Irving Berlin's White Christmas), Kelly Ann Dunn (Disney's Beauty and the Beast), Kyle Moses (Sister Act), Brad Bong (Big River, Irving Berlin's White Christmas), and Stefani Potter (The Sound of Music), and more. The production will also incorporate young actors from SRT Jr., Sierra Rep's youth training program.

Currently playing the role of Macbeth at the National Theatre, Kinnear has won and been nominated for multiple awards including an Olivier, two Evening Standard Awards and a British Independent Film Award.

Rubicon Theatre presents a timely and trenchant production of Shakespeare's tragedy KING LEAR as the centerpiece of the company's 20th Anniversary Season. Under Virginia Olivieri's inspired direction, Stephen Mallatratt's play adaptation of Susan Hill's novella, THE WOMAN IN BLACK is more cerebral than scary but gifted in the production by the performances of two excellent actors, J. Honoring the anniversary of the birth and death of William Shakespeare, Centenary Stage Company is pleased to present classical theatre giants Randall Duk Kim and Anne Occhiogrosso starring in, The Pleasure of His Company: Our Love Affair with William Shakespeare and the First Folio, an evening of personal recollections, dramatic scenes and stories of Shakespeare's influence on Kim and Occhiogrosso's lives and careers for more than four decades on Sunday, April 23  at 3:00pm in the Lackland Performing Arts Center.
