INTO THE WOODS, CLUE, and DEATH OF A SALESMAN Win Big at The St. Louis Theater Circle Awards
Last evening at The Loretto-Hilton Center, the St. Louis theatre community gathered for The St. Louis Theatre Circle Awards Gala. Thirty-Four awards were handed out with three productions winning big: The New Jewish Theatre’s production of INTO THE WOODS and STAGES St. Louis production of CLUE won 5 awards each, and The Black Rep’s production of DEATH OF A SALESMAN won 4 awards. Each of the three were named the best of their category, INTO THE WOODS was named Outstanding Production of a Musical, CLUE was named Outstanding Production of a Comedy, and DEATH OF A SALESMAN was named Outstanding Production of a Drama.
Noor Theatre's Highlight Reading Series Is Back For Its 10th Installment
Noor Theatre will present the return of the Highlight Reading Series for its 10th installment this winter. The evenings will feature Hend Ayoub's Home? Or A Palestinian Woman's Pursuit of Life, Liberty & Happiness, directed by Carey Perloff; Fouad Dakwar's Fouad of Nazareth, music directed by Ben Covello, and Nikki Massoud's He Who Has Ten Thousand Horses, both directed by Sivan Battat; and Ella Boureau's Quand Tu Sors Du Feu, directed by Leyla Levi, and music directed by Laura Elkeslassy.
CLUE and INTO THE WOODS Lead the St. Louis Theatre Circle Awards with 11 Nominations Each
The St. Louis Theatre Circle announced their 2024 Nominations on Friday. STAGES St. Louis’ production of CLUE and New Jewish Theatre’s production of INTO THE WOODS lead all productions with 11 nominations each. Twenty-four different companies and 55 unique productions were represented among 165 nominations in 33 categories. Awards will be handed out on Monday, March 25th, 2024, at The Loretto-Hilton Center for the Performing Arts on the Webster University campus.

THE LEHMAN TRILOGY Kicks Off The Repertory Theater Of St. Louis Season, September 5- 24
The Repertory Theater of St. Louis (The Rep) the leading regional performing arts theatre in the Midwest, kicks off its 2023/24 Season with The Lehman Trilogy, the 2022 Tony Award-winning Best Play by Stefano Massini, adapted to English by Ben Power, and directed by longtime American Conservatory Theater's Artistic Director Carey Perloff. The production runs from September 5 - 24, 2023 at the Loretto-Hilton Center on the Campus of Webster University.
