The producers of the worldwide phenomenon Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story on Stage have just announced details of the principal cast and company, who will take to the stage in the West End return of this record-breaking smash hit show from Saturday 13 July at London's Piccadilly Theatre.

Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage, written by Eleanor Bergstein, script writer and creator of the phenomenally successful film, features all the much-loved characters and original dialogue from the iconic film with exciting extra scenes added in. The first ever UK tour opened in Bristol in September 2011, and has since broken box office records across the country, making it one of the most successful tours in UK history. The producers of the smash hit musical Dirty Dancing have just announced new casting for the phenomenally successful First Ever National Tour. The new company will have their first performance at Birmingham Hippodrome on Wednesday 4 July (American Independence Day) and will run until Saturday 25 August. Ray Meagher, best known on television for playing Alf Stewart in the long running Australian soap Home and Away, will re join the West End cast of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical as mechanic Bob from 5 October 2011, following his hugely successful run in the show last year. With booking now open at the Palace Theatre until 7 January 2012, Meagher joins Don Gallagher (Bernadette), Richard Grieve (Tick) and Oliver Thornton (Adam) in the internationally award-winning musical at the Palace Theatre.

According to Whatsonstage.com, Priscilla Queen of the Desert might finish its West End run at the end of December 2011. A publicist for the show told Whatsonstage, 'The producers of Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical made the decision today to inform the London cast and crew of the likelihood that the show would end its three-year run in the West End at the end of 2011. No formal notice has been given.'
