Milton Keynes Theatre has enjoyed a fabulous season so far this year with smash- hit musicals, stunning dance, thrilling drama and sublime opera and the lineup for the autumn season is just as spectacular.
The legendary choreographer Dougie Squires OBE MVO died peacefully on Sunday night, 21 May.
Milton Keynes Theatre has announced that pantomime legend Brian Conley will lead this year’s panto cast in the magical family favourite Cinderella from 9 Dec 2023 to 14 Jan 2024.

This isn’t the first time that an opening night review has been written when the following day is closing night, but it is hopefully the last. When Tier 3 restrictions were announced at 3.30pm on Monday, the theatre industry heaved a collective sigh of desperation as once again, the rug was pulled out from under them. Of course, regional theatres have been closed for many months, but some is better than none, and seeing London theatres alive these past few weeks gave a glimmer of hope - not to mention employment - to thousands of people.
On Sunday 6 December, stars gathered at the Actors’ Church (St Paul’s Church) in London’s Covent Garden, to film the concert: We Need A Little Christmas, in support of Shelter and Crisis at Christmas.
Exclusive photography has been released from the rehearsal room with preparations underway for the musical staged concert of A Christmas Carol. Performances will begin at the Dominion Theatre on Monday 7 December.
The concert will be filmed live at the Actors' Church (St Paul's Church) in London's Covent Garden, with performances from Dame Maureen Lipman, Courtney Act, Christine Allado, David Bedella, Simon Callow, Kevin Clifton, Brenda Edwards, Sheila Ferguson, Amy Hart, Dom Hartley-Harris, Sophie Isaacs, Cassidy Janson, Lydia Lucy, Lee Mead, Peter Polycarpou, Jodie Prenger, Sharon Rose, Sally Ann Triplett and The Vivienne, along with Brian Conley and the cast of A Christmas Carol – The Musical and the West End Gospel Choir.
