Photo Flash: First Look at Sierra Boggess in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA on Broadway!

The longest-running show in Broadway history, Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, directed by Harold Prince and produced by Cameron Mackintosh and The Really Useful Company, Inc., will welcome Broadway and West End star Sierra Boggess to the New York cast this month for a limited engagement as leading lady Christine Daaé. Ms. Boggess, whose long history with the musical began when she originated the role in the revised Las Vegas production in 2006, has been specifically chosen by the creative team to join the cast in time for the production becoming the first Broadway show ever to celebrate 25 Years. New to the show are Marcus Lovett as 'The Phantom', Simon Thomas as 'Raoul', LAra Martins as 'Carlotta' and Anna O'Byrne as 'Christine' at certain performances. PHANTOM will continue to star Sofia Escobar as 'Christine', Cheryl McAvoy as 'Madame Giry', Jeremy Secomb as 'Piangi', Barry James as 'Monsieur Firmin', Gareth Snook as 'Monsieur André' and Anna Forbes as 'Meg Giry'. Photo Flash: First Look at Trista Moldovan in PHANTOM OF THE OPERA

Principal cast changes have been announced for the Broadway production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, the longest-running show in Broadway history. Produced by Cameron Mackintosh/Really Useful Group, Inc. and directed by Harold Prince, the musical phenomenon is in its unprecedented 24th year in New York, playing at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street). National Tour star Trista Moldovan makes her Broadway debut when she assumes the leading role of Christine Daaé beginning Friday, December 9. Photo Flash: First Look at THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA's 25TH Anniversary Lair!

To mark its 25th Anniversary year, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh present 'The Phantom of the Opera' in a fully-staged, lavish production, set in the sumptuous Victorian splendour of the Royal Albert Hall with a cast and orchestra of over 200. Now audiences around the world are invited to join the celebration on Sunday October 2nd when the event is beamed live via satellite to cinemas across the globe.
