Tuta Theatre Chicago Extends THE SILENT LANGUAGE Through 6/9by BWW News Desk - May 8, 2013TUTA Theatre Chicago extends the latest show in its 11th season, The Silent Language, a U.S. premiere, written by Serbian playwright Miodrag Stanisavljevic, translated by Zoran Paunovic, and directed by Artistic Director Jacqueline Stone. The Silent Language, extended by three weekends, will run through Sunday, June 9 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., in addition to Saturday and Sunday matinees at 4 p.m., at TUTA Studio Theatre, 2010 W. Fulton Street. There will be no performances on Saturday, June 1 and will be an added 8 p.m. performance to Sunday, June 2. There is a suggested donation of $25 at the door for adults and $15 for industry/students/children under 18 at all performances. Seating is extremely limited. Reservations are highly recommended. He was the first artistic director of the National Theatre of Great Britain and its main stage is named in his honour. Olivier's career as a stage and film actor spanned more than six decades and included a wide variety of roles, from the title role in Shakespeare's Othello and Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night to the sadistic Nazi dentist Christian Szell in Marathon Man and the kindly but determined Nazi-hunter in The Boys from Brazil. Olivier played more than 120 stage roles: Richard III, Macbeth, Romeo, Hamlet, Othello, Uncle Vanya, and Archie Rice in The Entertainer.
