THE BOOK OF MORMON Sets Record for Biggest Single Day of Sales in West End and Broadway History

The producers of The Book of Mormon, which opened Thursday night at London's Prince of Wales Theatre, announced that the show set a record for the biggest single day of sales in West End and Broadway history. Between 10:00 AM and Midnight on Friday, March 22, the day after opening, £2,107,972 ($3,210,019) was taken in ticket sales. 150,000 additional tickets have been made available and the show is now booking until January 11, 2014. Rehearsals Begin for London's THE BOOK OF MORMON

Today, Monday 14 January 2013, sees the start of rehearsals for the London production of The Book of Mormon, which previews at the Prince of Wales Theatre from 25 February 2013. According to the show's official website, Mark Evans and Christopher John O'Neill will join the cast of the national tour of The Book of Mormon as Elder Price and Elder Cunningham respectively.
