Phil Daniels will lead the company in the titular role of Robert Louis Stevenson's Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde at the King's Theatre Edinburgh, Tuesday 10 Saturday 14 April 2018, in this new production, adapted by David Edgar and directed by Kate Saxon.

Touring Consortium Theatre Company and Rose Theatre Kingston today announce that Phil Daniels will lead the company in the titular role of Robert Louis Stevenson's Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde on a tour of the UK.

Acclaimed playwright Simon Farquhar and BBC Scotland's Poet in Residence Stuart Paterson are joining forces on a project bringing world premiere drama to Scotland's oldest working theatre. The pair are teaming up for A Play, A Poet & A Pastry an initiative by Bunbury Banter Theatre Company in partnership with the Theatre Royal, Dumfries, which takes place on Friday, 24 November.

Coinciding with the Nov. 10 Fox release of the new, star-studded theatrical adaptation of The Murder on the Orient Express directed by and starring Kenneth Branagh, Acorn, an RLJ Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: RLJE) brand, is re-releasing the extravagant television adaptation of the Queen of Crime's most famous novel, AGATHA CHRISTIE'S MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS on DVD on November 14, 2017.

Lyn Gardner will receive the award for Outstanding Contribution to British Theatre at the UK Theatre Awards 2017 on Sunday 15 October.

'We that are young Shall never see so much, nor live so long...' 2017 has been dubbed a year of Hamlets (too many, even), with Andrew Scott and Tom Hiddleston both taking on the role. If one play has experienced a renaissance, however, it would surely be King Lear. Full casting is announced for Stephen Unwin's, All Our Children, his gripping new play which probes one of the darkest episodes in recent history.

Joining the previously announced cast, Eddie Arnold, MyAnna Buring, Stavros Demetraki, Tommy French, Joanna Griffin, Gerard Horan, Chukwudi Iwuji, Stephen Kennedy, Beverley Longhurst, Andrew McDonald, Bhasker Patel, Penny Ryder and Michael Shaeffer complete an ensemble of actors who will represent the team of polling station volunteers, polling officers, and the diverse array of characters that are the voting public.
