During the interview, he revealed that his wife, Olivia Modling, is interested in pursuing a musical adaptation of Forte's iconic SNL sketch MacGruber, which later spun off into a feature film and a Peacock series. Seth Meyers has renewed his deal with NBCUniversal to host “Late Night with Seth Meyers” through 2028. Meyers’ Sethmaker Shoemeyers production company has also extended its deal with Universal Studio Group to produce content across NBCUniversal platforms. ​​​​​​​Meyers recently celebrated his 10-year anniversary as host of “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” The Emmy Award-nominated show launched on Feb. 24, 2014.

SheNYC Arts has announced their lineup for the 2024 SheNYC Summer Theater Festival. The Festival will run from July 30-August 11, 2024, at the East Village's Connelly Theater with both an in-person audience and select digital performances.

On Tuesday, May 7, Cole Escola will stop by Late Night with Seth Meyers to talk about his Off-Broadway (and soon Broadway) hit play Oh, Mary. The program airs 12:35/11:35c on NBC. It was recently announced that the play, written by Cole Escola and directed by Sam Pinkleton, will transfer to Broadway this summer, following its sold-out, twice-extended world premiere run at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

On Friday, The Today Show visited The Wiz on Broadway for a special behind-the-scenes look at the revival of the classic musical. In the interview, Wayne Brady, who plays The Wiz, talked about the formative experience of watching the 1978 film with Michael Jackson and Diana Ross.
