Lime Cordiale share their buoyant new single and official music video for 'Country Club' on the final date of their North American tour - a sold-out LA Troubadour Show! The Australian band played to capacity rooms in New York's Bowery Ballroom, Toronto's Velvet Underground and Denver's Globe Hall.

On Wednesday, we're due to give a one-off, live, online performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream, starring Dan Stevens, Rebecca Hall, Luisa Omielan, and Wendy Morgan and I'm cautiously excited about what we're making here!

Following two sell-out runs at Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2018 and at London's Cervantes Theatre, Shackleton and his Stowaway opens the Park90 2020 season. The run will commemorate the 200th anniversary of the discovery of the Antarctic, with the anniversary date falling on 30th January 2020. This thrilling two-hander is based on historical facts, exploring a fictionalised relationship between Ernest Shackleton and the young stowaway who boarded Endurance. The production runs from 8th January a?" 1st February 2020, with the official press night being held on Friday 10th January 2020 at 7pm.

Stolen Elephant Theatre are bringing their Sold Out Ed Fringe play 'Shackleton and his Stowaway' to London. It is based on the real events of the legendary Endurance expedition to Antarctica. It follows the misfortunes of an 18 year old stowaway who sneaks aboard Endurance. Initially, the stowaway is in complete awe of Shackleton. But this fades by the time Shackleton has gotten them trapped in the polar ice pack - even more so when Endurance actually breaks up and sinks. This leaves them adrift on the ice, hundreds of miles from civilisation.

Al Moses release their blistering debut single 'I Want More' through digital platforms on the 30th November. Al Moses are an incendiary new band made up of four nineteen-year-old friends from the South Wales valleys, who take on rock and roll history and stamp it with their personalities and the youthful ambition to be heard beyond their hometowns. Debut single 'I Want More' was produced by Steffan Pringle (ESTRONS, Himalayas) at Giant Wafer Studios and mastered by Charlie Francis (Pixies, REM).  With its sneering vocals, sizzling riffs and stomping beat, the rollicking 'I Want More' encapsulates their burning ambition, the disillusionment of their generation and wraps it in a swaggering chorus. It's a hungry opening statement of intent from this exciting young band.

Gore Vidal's 1960 political play The Best Man documents the behind-the-scenes machinations of a fictional Presidential nomination. This new production, directed by Simon Evans, has been on a short tour prior to a run on London's West End - it takes the place of David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross. Martin Shaw and Jeff Fahey lead the cast, which also features Maureen Lipman, Glynis Barber, Jack Shepherd and Honeysuckle Weeks.

With a list of celebrated and promising new artists, Abingdon Theatre Company's 2017 - 2018 season features premiere productions on the main stage, a one-night-only gala event honoring and featuring legendary artists, and ongoing initiatives fostering the work of emerging theater-makers.

Playwright Gore Vidal was well placed to have in depth knowledge of what goes on behind the scenes in US politics. After all, his mother was the daughter of a Democratic senator and his father worked for Franklin Roosevelt. His interest and involvement in politics led to The Best Man, which made its Broadway debut in 1960 and received six Tony Award nominations. Set in a Philadelphia hotel during the 1960 presidential nominating convention, there is no doubt that the workings of American politics have changed somewhat since that time. To appreciate the jeopardy and drama within the play, it is worth understanding that back then, there were often many more deadlocks and last minute dramas to these conventions than now, when the presidential nominees are chosen much earlier.

Neck and neck, the only thing that separates the candidates are the endorsements from a respected Ex-President (Jack Shepherd) and party big-wig (Gemma Jones).
