The West End premiere of Douglas Carter Beane's THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED concludes April 10. The production opened January 20 at London's Garrick Theatre. The cast features film star Rupert Friend alongside Tamsin Greig, Olivier Award winner for her performance in Much Ado About Nothing with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and is directed by Jamie Lloyd. The cast also features British actors Gemma Arterton and Harry Lloyd. The play began previews January 9th.

The Little Dog Laughed had a hugely successful run on Broadway in 2006, so with the addition of one of Britain's favourite female comedians and some tabloid-friendly rising stars, it's no surprise that it's already proving a huge hit with UK audiences.

Knightley No Longer Considering 'My Fair Lady' Flick

Although Keira Knightley was never officially offered the part of Eliza Doolittle in the upcoming film adaptation of My Fair Lady, rumors were afloat that she would step into the role ever since she met with producers Cameron Mackintosh and Duncan Kenworthy. According to the Daily Mail, she has now officially withdrawn herself from consideration for the role because she feels the project is taking too long to get off the ground.
