On Monday evening April 13th, cast members from the Broadway National Tour of 'Mamma Mia' will trade in their spandex and platform shoes for loofas and shower caps at 'Shower Songs - Guilty Pleasures from Bathrooms Across the Country' a one night only benefit concert for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. This eclectic evening of songs with music directed by Bill Congdon will take place at West Hollywood's iconic venue The Abbey (629 N Robertson Blvd, West Hollywood, CA) at 8PM and will feature a special performance by the legendary Candis Cayne (Dirty Sexy Money).

Following their sell-out debut performances last autumn, A Stage Kindly will present a new series of revues of new musical theatre writing at various venues in London and Brighton in March 2009. This new musical theatre initiative provides the opportunity for fresh new writing talent to introduce their work to the stage and gives musical theatre fans a chance to experience possible future hit shows before anyone else.

Several Chicagoans, including Susie McMonagle (Donna Sheridan), Michael Aaron Lindner (Harry Bright), and Nathan Alan Johnson (Ensemble) will perform in the national touring production set to hit Chicago's stage this fall. Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to present the national tour of MAMMA MIA! for a limited two-week engagement in Chicago September 17 - 28, 2008. The tour continues playing to record breaking houses all across North America.

SHLOMO The New Musical about the life and music of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach now playing at the The Museum of Jewish Heritage (36 Battery Place) through Friday May 9th, has announced a return engagement this summer. Due to popular demand, the musical will return to The Museum for another three-week engagement August 12th -31st.

SHLOMO The New Musical, about the life and music of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, plays a three-week limited engagement, April 22nd - May 9th at the Edmund J. Safra Hall at The Museum of Jewish Heritage (36 Battery Place). Featuring music by Carlebach, a book by Daniel S. Wise (Rent, producer of the world tour), lyrics and direction by David Schechter (Drama Desk nominee for Hannah Senesh) and additional material by Carlebach's daughter, Neshama Carlebach, SHLOMO The New Musical tells the story of the foremost innovator in Jewish Music of the 20th Century, and one of the most pivotal, unconventional and controversial Jewish personalities of the post WWII generation.

On Sunday, August 5, Algonquin Theater Productions and Ten Grand Productions, Inc. will present a special post-show benefit concert at featuring the cast of the Off-Broadway musical Sessions

Casting and directors have been announced for The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT)'s 18th Annual Festival of New Musicals, which will be held at New World Stages on Sunday, October 8 and Monday, October 9, 2006

Chuck Cooper, Gregg Edelman, Douglas Sills, Sally Murphy, Leslie Kritzer, Lee Wilkof and Billy Porter are among the stars who will make the trek to Poughkeepsie, New York for 'New York Stage and Film' at Vassar College from June 23rd through July 30th

Lonely Heart Productions, Inc will present 'the project: a benefit for hurricane katrina' on September 26.
