Following the production's three-week run through April 26, What Happened When will re-open this summer and again in the fall, each time with a different cast.

The 2017 PEN World Voices International Play Festival begins today.

The beloved award-winning actress Tovah Feldshuh and actress Mamie Gummer will be among those on hand to salute playwright Lindsey Ferrentino when she receives the 2016 Kesselring Prize for Playwriting on Monday, Nov. 14 at 7 pm at the National Arts Club (15 Gramercy Park South). 

Playwrights Horizons' A Life, the world premiere of a new play by Obie Award winner Adam Bock (A Small Fire and The Drunken City at Playwrights, The Receptionist, The Thugs, Swimming in the Shallows), just opened at the company's Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street). Originally scheduled to play a limited engagement through Sunday, November 13, the production will now play through Sunday, November 27.

David Esbjornson (The Goat or Who Is Sylvia?, Driving Miss Daisy) will direct an industry presentation of Howard Emanuel's Sundogs on Monday, October 17th at 3:30pm and Tuesday, October 18th at 3pm.

The Actors Studio's 70th Season will kick off with a revival of Harold Pinter's acclaimed drama Old Times, playing a limited engagement opening tonight, September 30th, and continuing through October 16th only. Connecticut has almost an embarrassment of riches when it comes to seasoned performers who settle here while still finding opportunities to act close to home as well as in New York and Hollywood.
