Would anyone know if they are planning to take this to the studio for a cast recording? The show is doing relatively well and would make a great cast recording.

I'd love to hear a cast recording - if only to hear the amazing Debbie Kurup's vocals again.
I saw the show tonight. Never been a fan of jukebox shows but I have to say I loved this! Stunning set design, a really tight and slick script and a number of brilliant performances. Gloria Onitri was on as Rachel - very impressed with her. Lloyd Owen was excellent too, as were all the cast. And Debbie stole the show.

bob8rich, you are so right. It's such a fabulous show, and I am not into jukebox shows either but this one works really well. Gloria Onitiri is pretty damn fierce in this, and makes it completely her own and is far from an imitation of Heather.
I thought it was ok, better than expected. Its not especially good or bad, its sort of just there. There was no emotion or tension to it, I hated the slow-mo staging of the dramatic moments, it lost all tension. Most of the projections were fine (liked the chase through the woods) but the end projections of just their faces was cheesy beyond belief. Set again was alright.
Lloyd Owen is good with what he has to work with, but all he has to do is stand there and look serious and upright. Gloria as Rachel was very good (can someone produce Disneys Aida now with her in the role!), but I really don't think this role is challenging enough to only do six shows a week. But sorry I have to disagree about Debbie, I've heard so much about her in anything and I just don't get the fuss, it was almost like an (average) understudy performance, satisfactory but nothing to write home about.
If you want a cheesy evening with women divas belting out ballad after ballad then this will hot the spot.
