any news on the first shows in Brighton? last time saw it at Hippodrome in Bristol they were searching the audience for water pistols and rice - from couple of notes on twitter seems theres a mass time wrap dance at the end and presume half the audience are in costume?
Went in wimbledon last night. There were signs up saying no water pistols, no open flames, no throwing things including rice and toast.
There was still plenty of shouting out and people put newspapers on their heads and lights held aloft, and a fair number in costume.
I thought it was a well done production, the band were terrific. Roxanne pallett was so much better a singer than I expected, the whole cast had great voices and were clearly loving every moment. Oliver Thorntons legs are still magnificent in heels but his wig was pretty ugly.
Richard o'brien (who I saw guesting at david bedellas show at the hippodrome last week, where he was quite contemplative) did a quick speech at the end about how much he still enjoys the show then lead the final timewarp.
