Always a curve-ball but what are your top 5 shows in the West End.

It's difficult to think of 5 shows that I actually like that much in the West End right now. Probably:
1. The Phantom of the Opera 2. Les Misérables (though it is my favourite out of the bunch as a musical) 3. Singin' In The Rain 4. Cabaret 5. (and I can't believe that I would ever put this in my top 5) Wicked.
2013 Theatre: Loserville ***** Merrily We Roll Along ***** La Bohéme (Royal Opera House Live) **** One Man, Two Guvnors (UK Tour) * Oliver! (UK Tour) ***** Lulu (Welsh National Opera) ***** Driving Miss Daisy (UK Tour) [x2] ***** Sexual Perversity in Chicago *** Madame Butterfly (Welsh National Opera) *** High Society (UK Tour) *** Singin' In The Rain ***** The Ladykillers (UK Tour) ***** Peter And Alice ***** A Chorus Line ***** Once *** A Chorus Line ***** GHOST: The Musical (UK Tour) **** The Great Gatsby (Northern Ballet) ***** RENT - 20th Anniversary Concert ** The Woman in Black (UK Tour) ** Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty ***** Lohengrin (Welsh National Opera) **** The Three Phantoms **** Wagner Dream (Welsh National Opera) * The Audience ****
There are a few West End musicals that I have not yet seen so obviously cannot consider them at the moment - Loserville (which I'll be seeing on Sat 8 Dec), The Bodyguard & Kiss, Me Kate (both of which I plan to see in January) and Cabaret (which I will probably get to see at some point as it's one of my all-time favourite musicals - but a bit put off as I hated the last Rufus Norris production of the show).
I've seen all other current West End musicals, so my top 5 of those are:
BILLY ELLIOT WICKED LES MISERABLES SPAMALOT TOP HAT
THEATRE 2013: Honk!***** Honk!***** Crazy For You***** Honk!***** The Magistrate***** Kiss Me, Kate**** The Bodyguard**** Lift*** A Chorus Line***** Privates On Parade**** Dear World**** Chess***** The Producers (amateur)*** British Boy In Brooklyn**** Tick Tick Boom*** Billy (amateur)*** 9 To 5*** A Class Act***** The Hired Man***** Darling Of The Day**** The Musician* Rooms***** Goodnight, Mister Tom**** Phantom**** Book Of Mormon*** Once***** Bare**** Billy****
I think the West End is as good as its ever been, all depends on your interests really. it can also depend on current casts, especially the long runners. That said theres nothing on at the moment or coming up that i really feel like i need to rush to see (again in some cases).
i actually think the next few years are a great time to be in the regions with so many west end shows (at west end quality) touring. and with at least two more to announce
