Can anyone advise me as to where the best place to sit is in the Cambridge Theatre for "Matilda" please, in order to get the full effect of the show? Thanks
I have sat in row C on the aisle which was excellent for seeing the action on stage close up but then I saw the show from a bit further back and saw some things I missed from being close up. I would say backwards from row F or G would be good.
I saw it a week ago sitting dress circle center, row F. The seats were amazingly good, allowed one to take in everything. And I should say that historically, I despise Mezzanine seating (which is what Dress Circle would translate into in US theatres)
I was mid--stalls, lefthand side, 1 seat from the end and had a perfect view. I think anywhere in the stalls would have good sight lines and the theatre is not so big that you feel miles away from the action.
I sat front row, on the centre aisle. The stage is slopped, so being near the front isn't an issue. Would prefer to be further back, but up front is a decent option, unlike some shows.
