The third Giggin4Good Charity Concert will be held at St Paul's Church, Covent Garden on Sunday, October 7th, with a high quality cast, including Dianne Pilkington (Wicked), Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (Gypsy, Flashdance, Grease), Alexia Khadime (Les Mis, Wicked, The Lion King) and Sarah Galbraith (Phantom in Las Vegas & Broadway, The Little Mermaid US tour).
I've been really proud to have been involved in the previous two concerts, which have included some amazing vocal performances and have raised much needed money for an incredibly worthy cause (Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital). This time we will be performing songs from two shows by Christopher J. Orton amd myself - BASED ON A TRUE STORY and MY LAND'S SHORE.
It will be an amazing night so please come along if you can and help raise money for the kids at Great Ormond Street while you spend the evening enjoying yourself.
It is now confirmed that the incredible Killian Donnelly will be joining the Giggin4Good cast, performing a brand new song from the musical My Land's Shore. Killian was seen on the West End most recently as Raoul in The Phantom Of The Opera and at the end of the year will be seen in the cast of the Les Miserables movie. He previously played the role of Enjolras in Les Mis at the Queens Theatre (and also covered and played both Jean Valjean and Javert). And he will soon be joining the cast of Billy Elliot as Billy's older brother.
It will be worth the price of the Giggin4Good concert ticket just to hear Killian sing!
I've just seen the full programme of songs for the Giggin4Good show and it really is going to be amazing! Songs from shows such as The Rink, Parade, The Last Five Years, Songs For A New World, The Witches Of Eastwick, Dreamgirls, The Wild Party, Newsies and TV's Smash - as well as songs from brand new musicals Bridges (by Chris Passey) and My Land's Shore & Based On A True Story (by Christopher J. Orton and me).
And the amazing cast includes a Glinda, a Christine, a Gypsy Rose Lee, a Wizard, a Dorothy, an Eponine, a Joseph - and many more!
There are still some tickets left! It really will be a great night. And remember the most important thing of all - all money raised will go towards funding vital research regarding brain disorders at Great Ormond St Children's Hospital neurological department. So, please book your ticket now! www.etickets.to/buy/?e=8623
