The Lion King UK Tour - 8 Dates To Be Announced?

the lion king began its 11 week run at the hipperdrome in bristol tonight but 8 other venues are to be announced anyone want to hazzard a guess at the other 8?? lets say 7 cause 1 is deffo an irish date (i would bet on dublin)

I would hazard a guess it could take The Lion King 3 years to complete a 8 venues across the country, by which time that is done, it could start the whole tour again.

I would guess ths show would play:

Bristol (already announced)
Manchester (already announced)
Edinburgh
Cardiff
Newcastle
Southampton
Leeds
Liverpool
Birmingham
Belfast
Dublin

Only a hunch.

Birmingham, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Dublin seem the most likely venues, not sure on Southampton but the Mayflower could hold it.

I really hope it comes the Wales Millennium Centre. I don't understand why Disney are taking a long time announcing the rest of the dates. With Beauty and Mary Poppins the dates were all announced in one go if I remember rightly.

If it were to play the North East it would be much more likely to play Sunderland than Newcastle. Sunderland Empire has a much larger capacity and stage to the Theatre Royal Newcastle, and is an ATG venue.

I never understand why they go to Bristol...the Hippodrome is among the worst I've been in. Never seemed to have a good seat and all have been uncomfortable.

You'd almost certainly be correct that Cardiff is a safe bet. (ahem) couldn't possibly say any more of course
