I'm probably the only one excited about this, but hopefully this turns out to be true! The Phoenix Theatre isn't that big, right? I guess, if it's just going to be an extended stop on the tour then it will work fine, but it would be cool if they at least built a ramp around the orchestra pit like the first US tour if it's going to be a legit West End revival -- albeit majorly scaled back, of course.
I definitely think they should record the tour cast now if the show is coming to the West End. They could have the CD for sale on opening night.
Went to see this tour when it was at The Lowry a couple of months back, having never seen the show before. Came very close to leaing at the interval which is something i've never done ever, What a mess!
Is this a new business policy by ATG? After a successful tour ro have a sit down in the West End, like this show Starlight and Spamalot? If so please bring in Chess and not Daddy Cool.
I agree with Bob8rich. I saw the original West End production and thought it was utter garbage. There are plenty of shows that deserve reviving but im my opinion this isn't one of them
