Goodnight Mr Tom to open at Phoenix

Goodnight, Mr Tom will open at The Phoenix 22nd November 2012 and will book until the end of January, with a possible extension.

The theatre will go dark for a slight refurb and a new musical will enter in the Spring. Rumour has it Kenwright wants Starlight to come in

Blood Brothers is extending another 2 weeks.

Goodnight Mr Tom should do well, not keen on Starlight Express going into the Phoenix, would rather have a new musical like Once, Finding Neverland or Newsies go in there.

The Phoenix has needed a refurb for a long time but i imagine it won't be as extensive as the refurbs that were done for the Delfont Mackintosh theatres.

I'm no longer in London on the closing night of Blood Brothers. So frustrating!

Would the Phoenix not be a bit small for Starlight Express? I have heard the current tour is even smaller than the last but people would be expecting the former London production surely?
I'll be at the last night of Blood Brothers, bound to be in tears!
