I'd have seen this anyway but this poster actually makes me want to see it.
And looking forward to discovering Rosalie Craig: next week in Ragtime and a couple of months later in this. She must be the Jessica Ennis of British musical theatre.
Does anyone remember Rosalie as Giulietta in "Aspects of Love" at the Menier a couple years ago? It was the first time I'd ever seen her. Giulietta should NOT steal any production of "Aspects", but, though the cast was better than okay, Rosalie certainly did just that.
I think the head image could be a good thing for them to use when it comes to London. As beautiful as the first poster is, shows need a really easy, identifiable logo if they are to be successful. I think Viva Forever is doing well already on that front. The Finding Neverland poster doesn't do much to sell the show as something people will want to spend money on. I think a single logo image would achieve this.
I agree. The new poster is beautifully crafted but it does look like its for a film not a show. The silhouette of the boy with kite over the moon could be isolated to make a memorable logo.
I like this very much. I do wish it looked more theatrical, but it looks nicer than the giant head. That takes me back to the Richard Chamberlain production of My Fair Lady with the great big head.
