According to the official Cats twitter feed a new Uk tour will start on the 8th February 2013 at the Edinburgh Playhouse, more dates and ticket details to follow

well, I guess I can say I'm excited for this. I found the production abit boring at first, but I'm sort of getting into it and will certainly check out the tour.
I'm relived that this is now confirmed to be produced by David Ian with the original designs, and not another one of Cameron Mackintosh's redesigned lower budget "re-imaginings."
Has the full tour itinerary been released yet? 'Ostend' is a seaside resort in Belgium, do you mean Southend or something else?

^Not necessarily. The US tour still credited John Napier with the design. They just included an additional credit to Raymond Huessy for scenery reproduction.
That's my favorite song! I hate it when it gets cut. I almost hated going to see the US tour knowing that it wasn't going to be in it.
If they cut something they can cut "The Ballad of Billy McCaw." I still prefer the Italian aria for that part, but Andrew Lloyd Webber prefers the ballad for whatever reason.
