Wasn't there talk a few years ago of a proposed revival of "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum" starring Omid Djalili? I think it was going to be produced by Cameron Mackintosh. What happened to this? Why did it fall through?
I remember when it was going to happen (wasn't it going to be at the Novello?) but I have no idea what happened. Perhaps Betty Blue Eyes came along.

Cameon looked into it three years ago or so and had in mind for it to play Thw Wyndhams.
Other projects like, Betty, Phantom tour and Les Mis has caused it to shuffle away and I would say now Omids headlining turn for What The Butler Saw would mean this
