The Mayflower have added a forth matinee performance making a total of 10 performances in 6 days! Not bad for a play in a 2000 + seat venue

The cast has also been announced.

The cast will feature: Steven France (Eastenders, The Bill) as Christopher Wren, Thomas Howes (Downton Abbey, The History Boys Tour) as Sgt Trotter, Karl Howman (Brush Strokes) as Mr Paravicini, Bruno Langley (Coronation Street, Doctor Who) as Giles Ralston, Graham Seed (Yes, Prime Minister UK Tour, The Archers) as Major Metcalf and Jemma Walker (Family Affairs, Eastenders) as Mollie Ralston. Jan Waters, currently playing Mrs Boyle in the West End will join the tour, and Clare Wilkie (Eastenders) will play Miss Casewell.

They're making sure this is a success. I've never seen so many soap actors in the same cast!

In fairness Im not sure they needed to worry, its been selling amazingly well so far. Im quite impressed with the cast, but yeah I know what you mean!!

I think I may pass on this on tour. For me, part of the magic would be going to see it at the St Martins!

Yep agree with you there. I will see it on tour too though, but as you say, I cant imagine it being the same as it is London
