Has anyone in NYC been to this place?

I figure it might be a neat, out-of-the-way spot for an opening night celebration.

I've never been to the speakeasy, but Crif's has am. az. ing. hot dogs.

The speakeasy's apparently rather a small space, holds only 45 people or so comfortably, but it seems nice and out of the way, and a good spot to meet with a colleague and discuss notes on that evening's performance or something.

Lord, old news - and way too small for an opening night, even for a tiny off-broadway house.

Yeah, kinda felt I jumped the gun with the "celebration" angle, but at the very least a good spot, perhaps?

Honest, I'm not even sure it's open anymore. It was a trendy joint with taxidermy, peopled by hipsters. I certainly would not use it for a production meeting.
