Search For A Twitter Star finals tomorrow night

Forget about the ITV Superstar show! Tomorrow night (Monday July 9), the finals of the phenomenon that is the Search For A Twitter Star will be held at the Lyric Theatre in London.

The search, the brain-child of twitter's infamous @westendproducer, has been going on for months with hundreds of contestants submitting their entries via youtube. After a number of rounds of twitter voting online, 10 finalists have been selected.

They will perform at the Lyric in front of industry professional judges and a live audience. One of the judges - the lovely and amazing Louise Dearman, appeared on Sky TV News this morning to promote the event.

I'm gutted I cannot get into London tomorrow to go to this - I've listened to the contestants' videos online and there are some great voices there. It should be a great night. Anyone in London who can get there should do so. The winner will be selected by the live audience voting on twitter.
