Hi! I'll be traveling to London from the US for 3 weeks with my school, and i'm really looking forward to seeing west end shows while i'm there! it was difficult to find information about any student rush/ or just student prices for some shows in general. what are the usual policies about these tickets in the west end? where could i get some discount theater tickets? I'm looking to see Le Mis, Ragtime, and possibly Sweeny Todd. Thanks!!!
Try TKTS in Leicester Square... or just rock up to the theatre in the morning of any day you wish to see the show.
We are not very rushed here (like in NYC) and we don't do the Lottos, either.
So - for Sweeney Todd (which I highly recommend seeing above stuff like Les Mis) - just turn up at the theatre at 10am - ask for a day seat (they may only provide two per people) and they'll see what they can do for you.
Theatremonkey.com is a very good site to use for research.
Thank you! I'm an American student here for the semester, and this post is a big help! I know how to do cheap tickets in NYC, but this is my first time in London, and any bit of information helps! :)
