Screen to Stage revivals?

I was wondering whether musicals such as Legally Blonde/Sister Act/Ghost, Would ever be revived in the future once their respect tours/westend runs have finished?

As the films that they are based on weren't musical films and the films aren't legendary (unlike Singin' in the Rain, Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang)

So do you think in 2022 we'll hear whispers of a Legally Blonde westend revival or not?

I think Ghost and Sister Act are both pretty legendary movies! And I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be revived, especially Legally Blonde as it is an Olivier Award-winning musical, after all!

I reckon Beauty and the Beast will be revived in the next 20 years but I wonder if it can be reimagined in any way.

Id love a full scale Beauty and the Beast revival

Id expect Hairspray, Sunset Blvd, Sister Act and Legally Blonde would at some stage. Same with Billy Elliot.

Not sure on Ghost.

I don't think Ghost has been a big enough hit to warrant a future revival but you never know. Some flop musicals get revived and become hits.
