I was actually to say this, I do like Rocky Horror but I think it could do with maybe a revival with a new approach like Cabaret or La Cage Aux Folles.
MamasDoin'Fine: I'm not sure what you mean? I've seen several different productions of Rocky Horror since the Piccadilly production. The 25th Anniversary production (which originally starred Jason Donovan then Darren Day) was differently staged to the Piccadilly production. Same goes for the 30th Anniversary production with Jonathan Wilkes and the recent touring production with David Bedella.
Wasn't the original Rocky Horror done in a cinema after its Royal Court run? It would be interesting to see Rocky Horror staged in a cinema again like Kneehigh did with Brief Encounter and without the annoying audience participation.
