The Guildhall production of it at the Barbican center? I really thought this was the same one that was coming Bway in August, but it's the one that was going to Bway in the '80s? So confusing. Anyway, I hope it's good!
I saw it last weekend. The show itself is dreadful. It's no surprise that the backers of the original pulled out.
As for the production, it looks great, but the choreography was very pedestrian and the lead was a half-note off on all the high notes. Pretty painful. The whole thing was a very boring music hall show.
