Best sites for Discount Tickets to London Shows

I am coming to London for the first time in over 10 years.
What are the best sites to get discount tickets to Shows? (in advance)
Is Matilda ever discounted or is that a dumb question?


Please let me know and in exchange I can offer the best sites for discounts in New York.

I always check out www.theatremonkey.com
loads of deals with seating plans.

I doubt you will get discount Matilda for a long while. Its very difficult to get decent seats, and you have no chance at weekends. Try for mid week.

Unfortunately Matilda is not on at discount, but then again, I heard it is only selling well at the weekends, you can always try your luck for a day seat in the week, normally these are only available to young adults (16-25 I think), but if they are not selling they may sell one to you, if that fails you can always bite the bullet and pay full price (shamed of myself saying that) or there are good seats in the Upper Circle for £20. Please see the attached seating plan and look at the purple seats.

Whats on Stage offer good discounts, but we aren't up there with New York and have many internet discount sites.
