National Theatre cancels Count of Monte Cristo for Christmas

Just had an email saying they will no longer produce the show and will announce a replacement soon

I had a ticket for this, however it is honourable to pull a production, if you know it is not going to be any good, if you did the opposite and I supect it had happened in the past, you are just mis-leading, honest theatre fans.

On a side note, perhaps it would be prudent for the National Theatre, to refocus on quality rather than quantity.

Though i do quite like some of it myself....

It's not a Wildhorn show, it's a new play adapted by the guy who did One Man Two Guvnors.
