Playhouse Theatre, London. Sunday 24th June at 7.30pm.
This concert version will feature many West End stars: Gina Beck (Meg), Helena Blackman (Belle Gardner), Norman Bowman (Professor Bhaer), Daniel Boys (Laurie), Nikki Davis-Jones (Jo), Sarah Lark (Beth), Shona Lindsay (Marmee) , Jon Robyns (John Brooke), Lisa-Anne Wood (Amy). Samantha Barks will make a guest performance, and the ensemble comprises some talent from Guildford School of Acting.
The event is directed by Nicola Samer, hosted by theatre critic and journalist Mark Shenton. Musical Director is Niall Bailey. Produced by Paul Taylor-Mills.
A story of love, maturity and sisterhood. Concerning Marmee raising her four daughters alone whilst her husband is away at war.
Apparently the music's not very good. My question would be why ANOTHER musical adaptation of Little Women?
