EXAM - UK Premiere Stage Adaptation of cult British thriller, Sept 4th - 8th, Three Minute Theatre, Afflecks Palace, Manchester.

Vertigo Theatre Productions spin off company GenX will present a stage adaptation of the cult Brit thriller 'Exam' by Stuart Hazeldine. The show is adapted to the stage by GenX/Vertigo writers with the permission of Mr Hazeldine and will open this sept 4th at the Three Minute Theatre, Manchester.

Eight talented candidates have reached the final stage of selection to join the ranks of a mysterious and powerful corporation. Entering a windowless room, an Invigilator gives them eighty minutes to answer one simple question. He outlines three rules they must obey or be disqualified: don't talk to him or the armed guard by the door, don't spoil their papers and don't leave the room. However with no question in front of them it soon becomes apparent that this test is going to be unlike anything they have experienced before, and with every one of them desperate to be chosen it’s not long before the candidates begin to turn on each other. How far would you be willing to go to get what you want?

An exciting psychological thriller that will keep you guessing until the very end and have you on the edge of your seats. Directed by Craig Hepworth and Richard Allen

What a great film to adapt. Something tells me that this is probably work better on stage as well. Now I just need to get myself up to Manchester.

Yeah the moment i watched it i knew it had great potential to be a neat little drama/thriller on stage. We are in the final few rehearsals but i think it's come together very well and the cast are wonderful.

Exam will play Sept 4th to the 8th at the Three Minute Theatre and tickets will be on sale from early June via Quaytickets. The show is not suitable for under 16s. Tickets are almost sold out.
