'The Exorcist' July 3rd - Aug 12th, 2012 Geffen Playhouse, Los Angeles.
The most chilling test of faith comes to life on stage. This world premiere adaptation of the famous 1971 novel documenting the terror and redemption of a ten-year-old girl remains as frightening and relevant as when first experienced. Under the direction of Tony Award winner John Doyle and adapted by acclaimed playwright John Pielmeier (Agnes of God), 'The Exorcist' transforms the unsettling battles of good versus evil, faith versus fact and ego versus ethos into a uniquely theatrical experience as sophisticated as it is suspenseful.
Brooke Sheilds and Richard Chamberlain are to star as the preacher and mother.
Thought the movie was utter gibberish LOL - could not be emotionally engaged or scared by something that I found so ridiculous it made me fall about laughing when it was meant to be serious. So don't think this one will even remotely tempt me to pay a visit, despite the incredible cast.

Whether it's based on the movie or the novel, it's still based on the same preposterous plot lol. Sorry, it's obviously just me - I've just always found all horror stories unbelievable and silly. I realise millions love them and love The Exorcist - not my cup of poison though.
