X FACTOR's Rhydian Roberts Joins Cast of GREASE at Sheffield's Lyceum Theatre, May 14-19

The X Factor's RhydIan Roberts joins the T Birds and the Pink Ladies at the Lyceum Theatre from Monday 14 to Saturday 19 May as the hit West End musical Grease, written by Jim Jacobs and WarRen Casey, directed by David Gilmore and featuring choreography by Arlene Philips, tours for the first time in over five years.

Voted the 'No. 1 Greatest Musical,' Grease is the original high-school musical love story, bursting with slick hairstyles, rock 'n' roll and an irresistible mix of teenage angst and young romance. An electrifyin' extravaganza packed with fun, energy and vibrant dance numbers choreographed by Arlene Phillips(BBC's Strictly Come Dancing), it features all the unforgettable songs from the hit movie including You're The One That I Want, Grease Is The Word, Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted to You, Sandy, Greased Lightnin' and many more.

Danny Bayne (winner of ITV's Grease is the Word, 2007) stars as the slick champion of cool Danny alongside Carina Gillespie (Buddy) as his preppy sweetheart Sandy. Guest star RhydIan Roberts brings added X Factor to Sheffield, taking on the role of Teen Angel. The cast also includes locally born and bred actor, Josh Dever, who makes his professional acting debut, after graduating from the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, to play T Bird Sonny.
