Third Annual 'Wicked Day' Announced for West End October 26

WICKED, the record-breaking hit musical at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre, is pleased to announce its third annual WICKED DAY, an event that celebrates the show and raises funds for good causes in the local community. Various events are taking place in 8 cities around the world with New York's landmark Empire State Building being turned green for the day.

This year's WICKED DAY event in London will take place in the Lindley Hall at the Royal Horticultural Halls in Vincent Square, London SW1P 2PE (enter on Elverton Street) on Sunday 26 October from 12 noon to 6pm. WICKED DAY will feature a host of WICKED and Halloween-themed free events including competitions, performances, face-painting, fancy dress, workshops and a range of activities suitable for people of all ages. Members of the WICKED cast will be taking part. All proceeds from charity auctions and cast signings will be donated to the charity Thrive in support of their Battersea Garden Project.

For 30 years Thrive has been successfully using gardening as a therapy to make a real difference to the lives of people with a disability and is the only national charity of its kind.
