The International Youth Arts Festival is ready to take Kingston by storm and open at the Rose Theatre on 2 July.

Raise the Roof will kick start the festival at 7.30pm on Friday 2 July. The concert will present choirs, singers, musicians and dancers from a range of cultures, backgrounds and disciplines and will showcase the very best in young peoples talents.

Actor and Strictly Come Dancing star Tom Chambers is patron and supporter of the festival and said "I am delighted and proud to be a patron of the International Youth Arts Festival. For over a year now I have had the honour of being a supporter of the charity that has helped and mentored the work of talented young people in a range of the Arts. The spectacular programme on offer this year is already set to break records, with 100 events taking place. With such an amazing range of productions, I am really looking forward to seeing the result of all that hard work and creativity."
