The Landor Announces Lucy Williamson, Nick Hayes and Roni Page for Cabaret Series

The-Landor-Announces-Lucy-Williamson-Nick-Hayes-and-Roni-Page-for-Cabaret-Series-20010101

The Landor has announced the first three months worth of artists for their second year of ‘A Spotlight On... The Landor Theatre West End Cabaret Series’, including LuCy Williamson, Nick Hayes and Roni Page.

‘A Spotlight On’ is a series of one night only performances every third Sunday of the month. ‘A Spotlight On...’ is an opportunity for well known musical theatre artists to share the music and stories that are important to them, both within their careers and their personal lives. It has earned a solid reputation for the quality of its artists and their uniquely honest performances. This is a rare chance to get up-close and connect with those that continue to inspire us on the big stage. Get yourself a glass of wine in Clapham?s intimate Landor Theatre and share in the highs and lows that emanate from this mad business we call show. Their music. Their stories.

On Sunday 19th February the wonderful LuCy Williamson, who is currently appearing in Lucky Stiff at The Landor, will be the first to launch the series this year. Lucy is best known for playing Judy Garland in Judy & Liza (National Tour) Judy Garland (Stand by to Tracie Bennett) in End Of The Rainbow (Original London Cast) at The Trafalgar Studios, London, Mavis in Stepping Out (25th Anniversary Tour with Jessie Wallace) Joanne in Company at The Union, Carmen Diaz in Fame! Fantine in Les Miserables, NYC Woman/Cocktail Waitress in I Love You Because (Award winning British premiere at The Landor Theatre).

On March 18th, after appearing in the smash hit Legally Blonde, the exceptionally talented NICK HAYES will make his debut performance at The Landor. Nick could have been seen as Ren McCormack in Footloose (Playhouse Theatre, West End) Nick Piazza in Fame (UK Tour) George in The Wedding Singer (Original UK Cast, UK Tour) 1st cover and played Sky in Mamma Mia! (International Tour), 1st cover and played Bobby C in Saturday Night Fever (Apollo Victoria), Tulsa in Gypsy with Julia McKenzie (Wales Millennium Centre) Angel in LIFT (Trafalgar Studios) Billy in Elegies for Angels Punks and Raging Queens (Soho Revue) Angel in a gala performance of Rent (Garrick Theatre) and Mitchell in the Irish premiere of The Little Dog Laughed (Project Arts Centre, Dublin). He may also be recognised as heart throb Orson Buxton in Hollyoaks: In The City amongst other notable television, concert and stage appearances.

Last to be announced is musical theatre treasure, Roni Page, appearing on 15th April. Roni made her West End debut playing Leisl in the original Sound of Music. Her career has been littered with so many historic productions, including Charlie Girl, Strike a Light, A Little Night Music, (chosen personally by Hal Prince and Stephen Sondheim), A Chorus Line, Call Me Madam, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Nunsense, Starting Here, Starting Now, West Side Story, Side by Side by Sondheim, The Gondeliers, Wedding Fever, Stepping Out, Barnum and The Phantom of The Opera. She was best loved at The Landor appearing in their iconic production of Follies and then then went on to appear at The Gothenberg Opera House playing The Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd. Roni was also cast as Oliver’s mother in the now classic musical film of Oliver!, directed by Carol Reed. The Landor is very honored to welcome back Roni after over six years.

Tickets are strictly limited for these one night only events, with only 60 tickets available per night. Pre-booking is strongly recommended through The Landor Theatre Box Office: 020 7737 7276, or online at www.landortheatre.co.uk . Tickets are priced at £16.00 (£14.00 concessions).
