UK Productions of The Lion King, Blood Brothers and Sunset Boulevard have all been extended in the West End.

The Lion King is running at the Lyceum Theater and has added four months to its schedule, bookings are being taken until January 31 2010. This company features Shaun Escoffery as Mufasa.

Set against the majesty of the Serengeti Plains and to the evocative rhythms of Africa, Disney's multi-award winning musical The Lion King will redefiNe Your expectations of theatre.

A spectacular visual feast, this adaptation of Disney's much-loved film transports audiences to a dazzling world that explodes with glorious colours, stunning effects and enchanting music. At its heart is the powerful and moving story of Simba - the epic adventure of his journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands.

Sunset Boulevard is running at the Comedy Theater and has received four Olivier Awards Nominations - Best Musical Revival - Best Performance By A Company - Best Actress In A Musical - Kathryn Evans - Best Supporting Performance - Dave Willetts. The show has been extended by two months to 6/27. The production was originally scheduled to run until 4/18.

Norma Desmond was the greatest silent movie star of them all, until the advent of the talkies made her a has-been. Joe Gillis was a struggling screenwriter until, by chance, he pulled his car into the driveway of 10086 Sunset Boulevard, home to the reclusive Miss Desmond. This chance encounter would change their lives, forever.
