Brand new British musical THE GOOD ENOUGH MUMS CLUB will have its World Premiere at Waterloo East Theatre from Wednesday 29 May - Sunday 9 June 2013 prior to a UK
Tour.

A hysterical, heartbreaking and honest new musical, The Good Enough Mums Club toddles through the highs, lows and sleep deprivation of five women who are thrown together by motherhood. With enough wet wipes on hand to mop away the tears and clean away the snotty laughter, they overcome their isolation, loneliness, judgment and desire for perfection to discover that they are stronger as a group than as individuals and that sometimes, being good enough, is best. From peeing on sticks to drooping tits, The Good Enough Mums Club shares the love and dispels the myths of motherhood.

The Good Enough Mums Club is conceived, produced, directed and performed by mothers who have all returned to work in the arts after having children. Its creators Emily Beecher and Sally Samad, both of whom swapped careers as actresses and producers for new lives as mums, are committed to helping women to return to work in the arts after having children:

"In creating this musical we wanted to share our experiences of motherhood and support working mothers. It is our desire not only to continue to work in the arts and to enable others to do so, but also to communicate the message of hope and acceptance we have found, born out of some of the darkest experiences of early motherhood. We rehearse during family-friendly hours and contribute to childcare costs, and are thrilled that the show is brought to life by a cast all of whom are working mums."

The cast features Emily Beecher as 'Aimee', Sally Samad as 'Jenn', Lucy Russell as 'Pam', Megan Whelan as 'Esme', and Jade Samuels as 'Flo':

The Good Enough Mums Club is written by Emily Beecher and Sally Samad with music by Chris
Passey and Amy Carroll. It is directed by Charlotte Conquest with choreography by Drew McOnie and musical direction by Joe Louis Robinson.

Chris Passey and Amy Carroll are composers, writers and producers. They released their debut

Chris also recently composed the music for "Stagey and Proud", a song performed by Sheridan Smith at the 2013 WhatsOnStage Awards Concert.
