When were you happiest?
Right now. I love my life. I'm very, very lucky. Sickening, isn't it?

What is your greatest fear?
Not having my amazing friends. They are awesome.

What is your earliest memory?
Seeing my dad in the garden and dropping my piggy bank on the floor in order to run to him as quickly as I could.

What would be your fancy dress costume of choice?
An Egyptian princess. I mean, why not?

Which living person do you most admire, and why?
Probably two women. My spiritual big sis Lizzie Deane - she never ceases to amaze me with her wisdom. And Celia Mackay of Kilworth House Hotel and Theatre fame - she's an inspiration of generosity, kindness, talent and is also damned FUN to be with.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
That it takes me an AGE to get going in the mornings. Seriously. I need at least an hour and a half from waking up to leaving the door. That, and I slip into daydreams at the drop of a hat.

Property aside, what's the most expensive thing you've bought?
A year's training in Meisner acting technique with the Impulse theatre company run by Scott Williams. A genius teacher.

What is your most treasured possession?
Not so much a possession, but I treasure my friends and family.

Where would you like to live?
London-wise - Clapham Junction/Battersea. I bought a cottage in Tooting and I love it, but I really wish I could be just a smidge closer to town. World-wise - if it weren't so damned far away, Australia seems to have it all.

What makes you unhappy?
They are all in the same ball park. Unfairness, dishonesty, lack of communication and common courtesy.

What do you most dislike about your appearance?
My thigh muscles bulk up like a rugby player's if I'm not careful.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?
Red wine. Except I don't feel very guilty at all!

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
I swear far too much. Mouth of a fishwife, me. Never leave me around children. I constantly drop clangers. Almost like Tourettes.

What is the best job you've done?
Clearly when I worked on the fish counter at Waitrose...OK, I can't pick between, Tick, Tick, Boom!, Avenue Q and both the summer and Christmas shows I did at Kilworth House.

Cat or dog?
I'm torn. My lodger has a puppy and after a lifetime of having cats, I'm swaying towards dogs! Gah! Don't tell my mum.

To whom would you most like to say sorry?
My mum for putting up with me when I was a teenager. Yeesh....hormones.

Who is your best friend in theatre?
Ooh, I couldn't pick just one. Tee Jaye, Jye Frasca, Raj Ghatak, Mike Yale, Chloe Welsh and Renee Montemayer.

Which living person do you most despise?
Despising people wastes far too much energy.

If you could edit your past, what would you change?
Not a thing. Or I wouldn't be who and where I am. And I love it here.

If you could go back in time, where would you go?
It'd be very interesting to check out Ancient Rome and Egypt.

When did you last cry?
Oooh, I'm a cry baby. I cry when I'm happy and when I'm sad. I cried just last night, while offloading in my diary.

What single thing would improve the quality of your life?
A conservatory. Haha!

Where would you most like to be right now?
Anywhere as long as I'm with good friends, drinking wine and laughing.

Tell us a secret.
It's not really a secret, but I eat left-handed. Or cack-handed, as my dad says.

Cassidy Janson stars in Lend Me A Tenor: The Musical, at the Gielgud Theatre.
