SWEENEY TODD Continues To Lead Way In 2012 BWW:UK Awards!

Sweeney Todd continues to lead the way in this year's BWW:UK Awards as we move into the third week of voting.

Michael Ball, Imelda Staunton, Peter Polycarpou and Lucy May Barker are all in front in their categories as performers, while Anthony Ward leads in design, Paul Groothius in sound design, Jonathan Tunick in orchestrations - with the show leading as Best Revival of a Musical.

Can anyone stop Sweeney?

In the other big categories, Matilda tops the voting so far for Best Musical, while Les Miserables is in front for Best Long-Running West End Show.

After spending her formative years reading books and ending up with a Masters degree in English literature from King's College London, it was inevitable that Carrie should be a journalist.
