The King's Head Theatre presents the THE MURDER GAME, a new comedy by James Farwell. Directed by John Tillinger, the play opens on 17 March at 7.30pm (with previews from 11 March). The full cast includes Michael Praed, Josefina Gabrielle, Matt Healy, Ben Jones and Patrick Clancy.

A screwball comedy set in the cut-throat world of the New Orleans legal system.

A killer is on the loose but where is he? Can the two people whose job it is to uphold justice catch him before killing each other? Will their trusted friend Melvin pay his gambling debts on time? Will the Brazilian footballer turned crime writer help? Or could it all be solved by an evening round the dinner table?

James Farwell is an eminent American lawyer and political consultant. He was named by Campaigns & Elections Magazine as one of the 'rising stars' in American political consulting and Roll Call named him one of the top consultants in the United States. THE MURDER GAME is his first play.

THE MURDER GAME is being directed by the acclaimed, three times TONY nominated director John Tillinger. His numerous directorial credits on and off Broadway include; Say Goodnight Gracie with Frank Gorshin (Tony nomination), Night Must Fall with Matthew Broderick, Inherit The Wind with Charles Durning and George C. Scott (Tony nomination, Outer Critic's Circle Award), The Price with Eli Wallach (Tony nomination), Sweet Sue with Mary Tyler Moore and Lynn Redgrave, Loot! (OCC Award, Tony nomination), The Golden Age with Stockard Channing, Irene Worth and Jeff Daniels, Comic Potential with Janie Dee, Sylvia with Sarah Jessica Parker, Lips Together Teeth Apart with Nathan Lane, Christine Baranski and Swoosie Kurtz, After The Fall with Frank Langella and Dianne West, The Lisbon Traviata with Nathan Lane (Lortel Award), Prin with Dame Eileen Atkins, The Perfect Party (OCC Award), It's Only A Play and Entertaining Mr Sloane (Drama Desk Award).

Michael Praed was last seen on the London stage in 2003 in Susan Stroman's Contact. His previous theatrical credits include; The Constant Wife (West End), Design For Living (West End), The Caretaker (Nottingham Playhouse), Aspects of Love (West End) and Carousel Dublin Theatre).

Acclaimed actress Josefina Gabrielle has appeared in numerous West End musicals including leading roles in Nicholas Hytner's Carousel, Trevor Nunn's Oklahoma, Cameron Macintosh's The Witches of Eastwick and the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago at the Adelphi Theatre.

Matt Healy is known to millions for his television roles in Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Holby City and Playing the Field.

Musical theatre regular, Patrick Clancy, has appeared in numerous musicals including the original productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Aspects of Love and The Producers.

Ben Jones is a television regular with appearances in Doctors, Spooks, Echo Beach, Moving Wallpaper and My Family.

The King's Head Theatre is one of London's leading Off West-End theatres. Now in its 40th year the company has transferred 38 shows to the West End and Broadway.
