Organised Chaos Productions present another premiere you won't want to miss: 'Joy with Child'
Three Lives, all hit by crisis, all wanting to be resolved

After the successful run of 'Afternoon Tea' and the sold out production of 'The Benefit of Time', the final script to be put into production features the writing talents of Kim Wiltshire the confident author of new play 'Joy With Child' selected from Organised Chaos Productions successful 2009 'Script Call'

First time director Dean Biddell presents the talents of Celia Carron, Lee Joseph and Steven Moorhouse in what can only be described as a dark drama that takes unexpected turns and keeps spilling secrets.

Following the death of '60's bad boy of art, Kenny, his widow Corrinna has moved herself into the basement. She has been living here for a year, estranged from her children and, possibly, slowly losing her mind.

She keeps seeing a man. His name is David and he keeps appearing in her basement, she doesn't know how or why. Stephen, her son-in-law and only contact with the outside world, doesn't seem that interested or seem to believe her when she tells him of this strange presence. Stephen has his own problems, anyway. His relationship with Maz is deteriorating, and Corrinna has no interest in her first grandchild, as she says, she is too young to be a grandmother. David, who is real, is searching. He knows Corrinna's basement holds the clue to his life, but he doesn't know how or where. As each person tries to hold onto their own sense of self, of sanity, they come together and try to find what they have felt is missing from their lives.

Organised Chaos Productions aims to find and nurture undiscovered and emerging talent in the North West, and provide platforms for this creativity by successfully taking care of all the production technicalities. Their first productions in February at Taurus Bar played to critical acclaim and sold-out notices which they hope to continue as 'Joy With Child' which debuts at Taurus Bar Sept 30th til Oct 2nd 7.30pm.

The company, headed by Gayle Hare, Kirsty Fox and Mark Creamer, have extensive experience in Production, with credits in both film and theatre. Between them they have produced, managed, directed or performed at the Edinburgh and Buxton Festivals, the National Student Drama Festival, The Lowry, Studio Salford and the 24/7 festival.

Joy With Child will be presented at Taurus Bar on Canal Street from the 30th September to 2nd October at 7:30pm with a matinee on Friday at 2:30pm. Tickets are on sale through www.organisedchaosproductions.co.uk.
