
Following the sold-out concert performance of Soho Cinders at the Queen's Theatre in October 2011, Stiles & Drewe's new musical receives its world premiere at Soho Theatre running from tonight, 2nd August to 9th September 2012. The full-scale production with a live band features an all-star cast, including Jenna Russell and Michael Xavier, and featuring the voice of Stephen Fry.
The cast also includes Clive Carter, Suzie Chard, Amy Lennox and Beverly Rudd. Full casting will be announced shortly.

Jenna Russell won the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical and was nominated for a Tony Award for her role as Dot/Marie in Sunday in the Park with George. Other stage credits include Into the Woods (Regents Park Open Air Theatre)
Michael Xavier is currently playing the male lead in Wonderful Town on UK Tour. His recent credits include Into the Woods (Regents Park Open Air Theatre), Love Story (Chichester & Duchess), Spamalot, Miss Saigon and My Fair Lady.
Stephen Fry is a multi-award-winning screenwriter, actor, author, television presenter and film director. TV credits include: QI; Blackadder; Jeeves & Wooster; Stephen Fry in America. Film credits include: Gosford Park; Sherlock Holmes 2; Stormbreaker. Stephen makes a return to the stage this Autumn as Malvolio in Twelfth Night at The Globe Theatre.
George Stiles and Anthony Drewe have been writing together for nearly thirty years. They are best known for writing new songs for Mary Poppins, their Olivier Award-winning Honk!, and more recently the critically acclaimed Betty Blue Eyes. They are currently developing a musical based on the cult movie Soapdish and recently announced that along with Julian Fellowes they will write a new musical stage version of The Wind in the Willows.
